What Can we Expect?
A Specialty Shop: You've been to big box stores and you've been to specialty shops. We're a specialty church. What you will find is a personal greeting, generous easy to meet people and a multigenerational church family that will enjoy getting to know YOU.
Blended Worship: We celebrate the Lord using the latest in contemporary worship along with celebrating the Lord with the vast heritage that we have in worship music.
Biblical Preaching: We have a high view of the Bible, knowing it to be the inerrant and inspired communication from God. It is foundational to all that we are.
Access to Ministry: Looking to express your unique talent or skill?
The leadership team enjoy developing distinct points of involvement that reflect God’s design in you.
Community Service: We love our communities around First Baptist. God calls for us to love our neighbors, and so we believe it is our high calling to look inside and outside of the church to serving people. We adopted the local elementary and will soon expand to the junior high and high schools. It is to share the love of Christ in tangible ways.
America's Godly Heritage: We celebrate what God has done in creating the United States of America, that we are exceptional among the nations of the world. It is not that America is great in and of itself, but that we serve a great God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Children Get Lots of Love: We love kids. Kids are to be seen AND heard, and they are welcome in our worship service.
Nursery: Do you need some peace and quiet as you worship? We have a beautifully appointed nursery with a loving team of women who would gladly assist you, as you desire.
Junior Church: When it becomes time for the morning sermon, our elementary age children are given the option of going to junior church to receive their own lesson adjusted to their age level.
Faith Classes: We have faith education for all ages each Sunday.
Camp Bethel: We send all of our kids to summer camp in Hoquiam to grow in Christ and make lifetime memories.
American Heritage Girls: We host a girls...scouting style program with a decidedly Christian character focus. That's on Wednesday afternoons also!
